KAREN MCHUGH 2002 I have worked as a barrister and as a Principal Lawyer specialising in property, planning/local government and charity law for a number of years. Prior to that, I worked in the voluntary sector with a number of agencies developing work/training/educational programmes for young people and developed a particular interest in prisons and their ability to secure and rehabilitate. I am interested in the arts, particularly theatre and classic film. I am a board member of Sustain For Life a sustainable development charity working in Uganda, Togo and seeking to develop projects in (a very challenging) Burkina Faso. I enjoy reading, yoga, travel.
