She is a non-executive director in the private and third sector, in health and social care, and health care property. She advises governments and service providers internationally. June wrote Dementia; the One-Stop Guide the bestselling book for families on how to cope with cognitive impairment and frailty. Married with a daughter studying law, she lives near Edinburgh, Scotland and recently toured North America to launch When Someone You Know Has Dementia – a new guide for people affected.
