I became BAP’s UK Project Director in September 2018, taking over from the inimitable Sue McLeod who had run BAP for 15 years.
Before BAP I worked within the charity sector in health and social care, most recently heading up the strategy and development programme for a charity called Skylarks in Richmond upon Thames, who support children with disabilities and additional needs and their families. My background is in the arts – after graduating from the Courtauld Institute of Art I interned in Venice at the Peggy Guggenheim Museum before working in London at the Royal Academy of Arts and the British Film Institute. Following my Masters in Cultural Policy I worked across various policy and programme areas for Arts Council England.
BAP is an experience like no other – I still haven’t found an adequate way to describe my job to anyone who isn’t a BAPper!
