Steve’s 4th grade teacher, Ms. Halvorsen, was once quoted as saying “Steve has outstanding potential.” There was a time when he was an avid outdoorsman and world traveler. He’s hiked in the Nepal Himalayas, sea-kayaked in Patagonia and worked as a cocktail bartender in Queenstown, New Zealand. He and his wife now have a son and daughter with a third on the way and make frequent expeditions to their local park. Professionally, he joined the Director’s Guild of America in 2006 as an Assistant Director and has credits on films like Transformers, The Bucket List, Hangover II + III, an Eddie Murphy comedy that he’d like to personally apologize for and many more. In 2015 he started a custom furniture side business and in his free time he can be found singing in his semi-pro rock/pop a cappella group. He has a degree in business from UNC-Chapel Hill and bleeds Carolina Blue.
