Marvin is Managing Principal and Co-founder of Generation Development Group, a real estate development firm focused on utilizing the social determinants of health as drivers of the built environment. Throughout the course of his career, he has been responsible for the financing, development and/or construction of over 1,800 affordable, workforce and market rate units in multiple states and US territories with a total development cost of ~ $500 million. Marvin began his career at J.P. Morgan’s Investment Banking Division in New York where he transacted over $9.6 billion of debt, equity and acquisition value.
Marvin is also committed to civic service and was elected in November 2018 as the Vice Mayor and Harbor Island Commissioner for North Bay Village, Florida. As Vice Mayor, Marvin has been a champion for environmental issues.
Marvin earned a B.S. and M.B.A. from Florida A&M University as well as an M.S. from Columbia University.
