Jane Cummins formed The H.E.A.R.T. Program (www.heartprogram.org) in 2006 to address challenges faced by adults with developmental disabilities by forming partnerships with Houston-area venues to operate vending machines and provide staff for concessions. Jane is the recipient of numerous honors and awards, including one of the “Women on the Move” presented by the Texas Executive Women in 2015; one of Houston’s 50 Most Influential Women named by Houston Woman Magazine in 2015. She was named “One of America’s Most Extraordinary, Entrepreneurial Women” in a nation-wide search, conducted by Balance Bar. A proud graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, Jane has served in leadership for numerous non-profit boards and commissions and also hosts a weekly radio program.
