I moved to London from Washington DC in 2001; I was meant to be in London for 3 years. 14 years later, I am still in the UK working in Government Relations which I have done for the past 20 years. I am currently Director Government Relations and Public Policy at SAP and I previously worked for Yahoo, BlackBerry, and Nortel. The lobbying bug first hit when I was in graduate school in Washington DC where you either lobby politicians or become one! I am a Fellow at the Royal Society of Arts and have big ambitions to one day actually go to all of the great lectures they invite me to. I am passionate about tech (I balance my corporate life by advising a tech startup), gender equality (I serve on the steering Committee of the 30% Club aimed at increasing the number of women in corporate leadership positions), and my family (two kids, a husband and a dog). I am from Southern California and yes I do miss the weather.
