Across the UK we have seen panic buying in our supermarkets that has in turn put immense pressure on our food supply. Eggs, flour and bread are in short supply and limits have been placed on the purchasing of meat and chicken. For those self-isolating for 14 day stretches, it is proving challenging to cook inspiring meals with an increasingly narrow range of products. We are being forced to get creative with store cupboard basics. The situation may well be mirrored in the US as the pandemic progresses.
Well, BAP is coming to the rescue! Welsh Fellow Cerys Furlong, who is a publican and restaurant owner will be in conversation with New Orleans award winning super chef Donald Link. They will briefly discuss the impact the pandemic has had on their restaurants. Donald Link will then lead a live cooking webinar where he will share some easy but flavour-packed recipes that we can make from our store cupboard basics.
